Merry Christmas

My mom came the other day and took these cute pictures of Kellen. I loved how they turned out.  I hope that everyone has a very Merry Christmas!

Sweet Baby Kellen

Kellen Christopher was born on December 14, 2011. He was born at 2:33 am. He weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and 19 inches long. He is such a sweet baby. He spent the whole hospital stay plus a couple of days in the NICU for pneumothorax which means there was a leak in his lung causing air to reside on the outside of his lung. They couldn't get him to cry after he was born so he had to stay in a head box which put the oxygen close to him so it was easy to inhale. He had that on for almost 2 days then his jaundice level spiked so he had to go under the light. He is healthy and happy now.I didn't think I was going to make it to the hospital. My contractions where so intense and coming about every minute in a half to two minutes and my water broke in the car on the way to the hospital. I am grateful for modern technology and that everything worked out. He is so content. I love him so much and I am glad that he is here.

Baby Boy #3

We are expecting another boy and are so excited. My due date is December 30. We feel very blessed to be bringing another sweet spirit into this world and look forward to when we finally meet him.

Canada

*****WARNING***** Picture Overload!!!!
In August we had the opportunity to go to Canada for a few days to visit Tally's family that lives there. His mom is from Canada, so all of her family live there. It was so fun to visit. We had so much fun and time went way to fast. It was so fun to meet all of his family. He hasn't been to Canada in over 20 years. A lot has changed and there are a lot of his cousins he had never met. We stayed with his cousin and his family. They kept us busy which was fun. Colsten has Canadian blood that runs through his veins. All he thinks about is Hockey. Tally's cousin took us to a couple of Hockey stores. Colsten came home with a helmet and ice skates... yes he is spoiled. The pictures are backwards. The first of our trip is at the bottom, but that is ok. At least there are pictures. It is a beautiful country and it was so relaxing and well needed. Enjoy the pics.

Splash Pad

Tally works on base and every year they have a big car show and bbq. So I took the kids up on base yesterday to the party. The base has a brand new splash pad that was put in a couple of years ago. The kids had so much fun. I also took my next door neighbor girl up with me to hang out. It was nice and refreshing on a hot day.

Kid History

A couple of weeks ago, my mom showed us these video clips on youtube. They are cute and funny so I thought I would share the link. For those of you that have never heard of Kid History, it is a bunch of kids telling stories while the adults act it out. They move their mouths, but it is the kids voices coming out and it is all in sync with each other. There are 5 different episodes, so if you need to laugh go check it out here (this link is for episode 1). Enjoy. :)

Happy Birthday Baby!

Thursday was little B's 1st birthday. I can't believe a year has already passed. Tally and my family came (those that live close) Since he was born on Cinco de Mayo we had a pinata and chips and salsa to snack on. I also made fruit salsa and cinnamon chips. We also had cake and ice cream. I spent the day with my neighbor making a baseball cake for Braylon (which he never really dug into. He mostly just picked at it) and a jersey cake for everyone else. I would love to take cake decorating classes and learn all the fun techniques. It was a very fun day. I am blessed to have this baby in my life. He makes me laugh all of the time. He has such a cute personality. We love him so much.
