Natty's Wish ~ Chili's Gives Back

Do you remember this cute girl?

For those who don't know this is my sweet sister Natalie. She died a year and a half ago after a 3 year battle with Ewing's Sarcoma, a form of bone cancer. She was one of the sweetest people I know. She showed love to everyone she came in contact with. She wanted to help everyone. She was diagnosed at the age of 19. Therefore she missed the chance to qualify for Make-a-Wish. She wanted so bad to go somewhere with her family before she passed. Unfortunately that did not happen. She passed before we all had that opportunity. Before she died she talked passionately about having a foundation organized in her name that would allow people between the ages of 19-25 struggling with this horrible disease a chance to go on a memorable getaway with their families. Natty's Wish was created for that purpose. Chili's has been wonderful to allow us to do a Chili's Gives Back. Last year it was only in the Utah locations. This year has branched out to Utah, Arizona, and Nevada. Hopefully one day it will be nationwide. PLEASE go support Natty's Wish TODAY!!! Just take the flyer or coupon in (www.nattyswish.org) and Chili's will donate 15% of the total bill to Natty's wish. Let's make it one of the biggest events in Chili's Gives Back that there ever has been. (It is ALL day)

THANK YOU from the whole Jolley Family and the Natty's Wish Orginization

Dressing Your Truth

The end of February, Tally and I took the boys to visit my brother and his family in Cedar City. My parents also went down there to spend the weekend. We had a good time. While there my sister in law introduced me and my mom to Dressing Your Truth. It is very interesting and it has changed me a lot, but in a good way. For those that know me, know that I HATE shopping. I always have. Now that I am dressing my truth I am excited to go to the store and see what I can find. I am excited to get up in the morning and get ready for the day. I do my hair and makeup. I still love to be in my comfy clothes, but that is me. I am a Type 2 and I love it! There are 4 different types. My mom is a total Type 1 and it has been so fun to see my new mom and how she has changed... not changed but found her true self that has been hiding away. If you are interested to find out what type you are and you live close I have a book you can borrow and read. You can also go here to the Dressing Your Truth website.

Who wouldn't want to save money?

My husband Tally and our neighbor just started their own business trying to save people money on everyday bills such as their home phones, internet, TV and mobile. I know in this economy any little bit of extra saved money is so important. Tally wants to help so many people. There are people who are reluctant to even consider it, but if you know my hubby you know that it is legit. Tally was able to save his parents about $85 a month on some of their bills. That is a lot of money. This is good for anyone everywhere. You don't have to just live in Utah. Some of the companies they work with are Comcast, Directv, Dish, Century Link. Anyway I think that it is nice to have a little extra money, so for anyone out there that is reading this blog whether I know you or you are a secret reader, if you want to see if Tally can save you money (if you are already getting a better deal then what he can give you he won't try to change that) then leave a message or you can send an e-mail to me at tmthomas112(at)gmail(dot)com and leave me your name and phone number and either I will call you or Tally and see if we can save you some money. Because who doesn't like a little extra cash? :) Thanks everyone for reading.

p.s. if you are interested in learning more and live close we are having a meeting at our house tomorrow (Thursday March 8, 2012) at 8 pm. We would love for you to come. If you would like too, send me a message and I can get you my address.
